Coulton sends his congratulations to Upper House elect Sarah Johnston
Federal Member for Parkes Mark Coulton has sent his congratulations to his former staff member Sarah Johnston on her election to the Upper House of NSW Parliament, which was confirmed yesterday.
“Sarah is a born and bred Gunnedah girl and has been working with me over the last three years as my policy adviser based in Moree. She will be sorely missed in my office; however I am tremendously happy for her as she heads into this new stage in her life,” Mr Coulton expressed today.
As the President of the Federal and NSW Young Nationals, she has a keen interest and passion for regional Australia.
“Sarah will be invaluable to the Nationals in the Upper House. We are fortunate to have such an intelligent, hard working advocate representing our region in Parliament.”
Mr Coulton attended Sarah’s wedding last weekend, where she married Inverell Agronomist Anthony Mitchell.
“These last few months have been an exceptionally busy time for Sarah and Anthony. I wish them all the very best for their future together.”
